About Me:
Born and raised in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, I was first turned on to wild places and wild things through my passion for both freshwater and deep sea fishing. One of my first memories of being interested in the ecological and evolutionary natural history of species was at about the age of 10, when I caught my first Sea Robin. The uniqueness I observed in this undesirable fish sparked an innate curiosity. Though I didn't know it at the time, this curiosity would drive my life towards a career in ecology with a focus on the protection and restoration of imperiled, threatened, and endangered species. I have since traveled across the United States working on the protection of imperiled species. My professional interests include landscape genetics, spatial ecology, endangered and threatened species conservation and research, urban ecology, and the application of GIS and statistical methods to investigate ecological processes.
